This blog is for a Mass Communications 475 class and its about the images you see on the news.It will focus on Blacks in the Media. News coverage is not always fair and balanced. People draw many of their ideas about people from the images they see. A couple of earlier posts were a preview of what I will be talking about. People draw conclusions from the images they see, if they do not see a counter to it.

One example, would be if I lived in Delta, LA and got my local news from Jackson and all of the crime stories. I would think Jackson is dangerous. when in reality Jackson is like a lot of cities, it has its problems of crime and infrastructure and so on but some great things about it.
